Why you should add CBD to your daily routine

Everyone’s day varies from one another, like they should. Each daily routine looks different from person to person but there may be similar things in each. Perhaps you start your day with coffee, and so does your neighbor. Or maybe you end your day with a leisurely walk through the neighborhood and you see a few friends along the way walking their dog. Sticking to a daily routine can make or break your day. Adding a quick morning workout can put a pep in your step so, what about adding CBD to your daily routine? CBD, like many other new holistic health and wellness products are becoming increasingly popular. Why is this? More natural wellness products are more popular than their alternative counterparts because, well, people are understanding that natural may be better for them and their families. This natural aspect can include a wide variety of different products. One of them, yes, CBD. There are many questions that one may ask about CBD. In this article we will answer such questions and maybe help you decide whether or not to add CBD into your daily routine. 

CBD: straight from nature 

Yes, the “natural is better” idea is all the rage right now, and we here at Nature Blend believe that it will likely stay that way. The Earth has so much to offer, and this includes CBD. CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the 113 well known chemical compounds called cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are found in the Cannabis sativa plants. Cannabis sativa is found in nature like many other plants. This plant, however, has a bit of a confusing history as there have been many misconceptions around it. We are here to help debunk these misconceptions. Cannabis sativa comes in a few different forms. The two we will touch on are marijuana and hemp. It is most likely that you have heard and read about marijuana. Marijuana is a type of Cannabis sativa that contains all of the cannabinoids, but it contains higher amounts of a cannabinoid called THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol. This is the cannabinoid that is responsible for the psychoactive effects you may have heard about. Lower amounts of THC cannot give users a ‘high’ and that is where the hemp plant comes in. The Hemp plant contains all of the cannabinoids as well, but it only has 0.3% of THC or lower. This small amount cannot give those psychoactive effects like marijuana does.  

There are many places that have legalized the use of marijuana for recreational and even medical purposes. Hemp, on the other hand, is used more widely because of the high CBD content it has. Hemp has also been used to make certain materials, like clothing. Hemp and marijuana are both quite versatile. In this article we will focus on the CBD that is derived from the hemp plant. The first thing that you should take away from this article is that CBD and THC are not the same thing. CBD cannot get you ‘high’. 

Why add CBD to my routine?  

Like we stated before, each person’s daily routine looks different. There are many different ways to add CBD to your daily routine and there are many different reasons to add CBD to your routine. It is important to note that there is still little research regarding CBD because of this, there are only a few known reasons why folks use CBD. The CBD uses that we will share have research that help show the potential truth behind the claims they may make. It is important to speak with a healthcare professional before using CBD. Here are a few reasons you may want to add CBD to your daily routine.  

Add improvement to skincare routine: Some people have very long skincare routines; we are sure you have heard of routines that have 20 different steps. Or maybe you are a person that washes their face with a bar of soap and calls it good. Either way, CBD may be a great way to improve your daily skincare routine. How do we know? Well, in this study people who had scarring from skin conditions were asked to use a CBD ointment (CBD topical product)  to see how their scarring would react to the CBD. They used the CBD topical two times a day for three months. After the study had ended it showed that the look and feel of the scarring had improved. If CBD topicals could help scarring, imagine what it may be able to do for a daily skincare routine.  

May help alleviate anxiousness: The feeling of anxiousness can be overwhelming especially when it is felt on a daily basis. There are many different natural remedies, but they often fall short. Can CBD help? Maybe! This study looked at images of people’s brains who have SAD (social anxiety disorder) before and after certain tests. This is a disorder that gives people anxiety in social situations and therefore the tests were linked to those types of situations. The people who received the CBD (some did not) showed a decline in their social anxiety disorder effects during the tests. The people who didn’t receive the CBD either remain the same as before or there was no decline to show. Like we said before, there are many different natural remedies that you may want to try regarding anxiety, but it looks like, in this case, that CBD may be a good choice.  

May help decrease inflammation: Inflammation can cause all sorts of issues in a person daily routine. Whether it be pain in the joints or just over all discomfort. There are many medications that could help this. But maybe you would like to see what nature may be able to do for you. In this study, dog owners were asked to give a CBD product to their dogs who were told they had osteoarthritis. The owners needed to give the CBD to their dogs two times a day for four weeks. This condition causes inflamed joints and therefore may make it hard for the dogs to move around as much as they would want to. Along with giving their dogs CBD the owners took a weekly test to show if anything had gotten worse, improved, or remained the same. At the end of the study the results showed that the dogs were more mobile. Yes, this research is done on animals, but the way that CBD reacts with their systems is very similar to how it reacts with our own. CBD and pain relief may be able to benefit you!
